Hello! I'm a multi-dimensional artist working in the visual arts of photography, painting, and mixed media.  My life long passion for nature drives my images, but my eye seeks the everyday and ordinary too, whether with my cell phone or my Canon D50.  While my go-to subjects are landscapes and garden, sea, sky, and interesting portraits of pets and people, I'm particularly fascinated with abstraction where line and light play across a visual field.  To me, a great visual image is one you want to return to again and again...One that makes a lasting impression in your mind.

As a lifelong environmental advocate, I support the National and Massachusetts Audubon Societies, National Wildlife Federation, Trustees of the Reservation, Sierra Club, DarkSky.org and water conservation throughout the globe.

My work has been published in South Shore Living Magazine, The Providence R.I. Journal, Healthy Living Magazine, Coastal Living Magazine and the Workman Publishing Company.  Following an international competition, Café Andre Publishing of San Francisco chose my photos for their 2006 book, Like Sand from Orchid’s Lips.

The Boston Medical Center, New England Baptist Hospital, Boston, and The Highlands Rehabilitative Center in Fitchburg, MA have permanent collections of my photography and painting. My work is displayed in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. It has been my honor to receive awards for first place, (North River Arts Society, Duxbury Art Complex, Hull Lifesaving Museum) second place, and honorable mentions through The Attleboro Art Museum, Hartford Art School, Duxbury Art Complex, Hull Lifesaving Museum, South Shore Art Center, 4th Floor Artists of Rockland, MA, Maine Media Workshops (of Rockport College) and Tufts Health Care.

I am owner/operator of a small private gallery in Scituate, MA, where I display my work and that of other local artists.  As a NCPT Certified Pilates Teacher, my gallery space is also home to my private Pilates studio, where I work in corrective exercise, injury rehabilitation and fitness to help clients and athletes achieve their health and wellness goals.  After suffering from a broken back in December, 2012, I can attest that physical activity is key to long term life and health. "Movement and Art is my life."
